This means copying various presentations onto one single PowerPoint deck. As an event facilitator and emcee, I have all the presentations loaded up in one single deck to minimise interruption and keep the audience engaged (there is nothing more unengaging than to watch someone hooking up their equipment). The other reason and one that I personally experience is for conferences with multiple presentations. This is often the case when presenting to different audiences or speaking for various time slots. Most of us at some stage have several presentations that we may want to take slides from to make up a new presentation. In this post, I will demonstrate a very simple way to keep the current format in PowerPoint when copying slides to another deck. There is nothing more frustrating than having your beautifully designed PowerPoint slides change to something hideous when copying to another deck.
